SAP Change Management Lead
The Chrysler Group is undertaking a complex SAP implementation across the Finance, Purchasing and IT organizations. The SAP Change Management Lead is responsible for leading all Change Management activities for the SAP implementation program. As such, this Lead will be accountable for the planning and execution of three primary groups of activities: organizational design & deployment, training and user readiness, and communications. Each of these activities is critical to the successful launch of our SAP program. The successful candidate must be able to leverage past experience and developed skills and competencies to effectively lead the planning and execution of all required Change Management activities through each of the established SAP program phases (design, build, mock conversions, test, and production cutover). The selected candidate needs to enable a timely and effective deployment of the SAP solution, supervise internal and external Change Management Team resources to complete all necessary related activities, which will include providing targeted and value-added direction to team members as well as timely feedback/quality review of team members output. This role will appropriately collaborate with the business, functional, and technical teams to facilitate the completion of all Change Management Team deliverables. This requires a deep understanding of the information and requirements associated with task completion, and a proven ability to identify opportunities for simplification and resolve issues across multiple groups. The Lead will articulate the Change Team perspective and facilitate discussions with Business, ITM Leadership and Human Resources regarding the organizational impacts of the SAP solution. This includes leveraging practical experience to proactively introduce ideas on how to effectively manage the associated change and transitions. Additionally the Lead will direct stakeholder engagement activities across the program, which will include but is not limited to managing project-related interaction with the Steering Committees, Operating Committees, Change Agent Network, SME's, and End User communities. Comprehensively assess the people and organization readiness elements associated with the collective SAP program readiness effort. Assess application, organization, and support readiness and support related activities. Manage cross release, cross unit ownership of deployment issues and interdependencies in cases in which the people and organizational elements are critical and substantial. The selected candidate will be part of Information & Communication Technology organization, and will report to both the SAP Program Lead and the Global Change Management Lead.
Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 8 years of direct experience as SAP Change Management Lead including supervisory responsibility
• Possess working knowledge of the standard application development lifecycle, and the proper/timely integration of change management methodology/activities/resources into that lifecycle
• Direct experience with the planning, development and execution of organization design, training and communications deliverables within a change management work stream
Preferred Qualifications: • Master's degree in Management Science or a MBA
• High proficiency in operating standard technology applications such as MS Office, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.
• Strong and effective interpersonal skills including verbal and written communications
• Ability to handle multiple assignments and tasks independently/with minimal supervision
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively
• Strong work planning and resource management skills
