SAP Configuration Analyst
Will participate in analysis, development and testing efforts in support of a wide variety of projects in SAP. A Configuration Analyst will work extensively with SAP transactions and design business processes for client using SAP as a base system for development. He/She will provide prompt, thorough and courteous support for clients. A Configuration Analyst should have strong knowledge of departmental procedures and standards, as well as the various technologies utilized by the department. Departmental procedures and standards must be adhered to when performing assigned tasks. A Configuration Analyst will interact extensively with the client community and therefore should possess strong oral and written communication skills.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Analyze client requests and design solutions based on stated requirements.
• Ability to evaluate and develop alternative technical solutions within SAP to reengineer business processes within the confines of the SAP software. Specifically for SAP’s Strategic Enterprise Management system.
• Write SAP programming specifications, in accordance with departmental standards.
• Provide production support for the Strategic Enterprise Management system where Hasbro uses the BCS and BPS modules..
• Coordinate configuration, development and testing efforts y IT staff and clients.
• Update procedures, operation instructions, and any other documentation impacted by programming changes.
• Support other staff members as appropriate.
• Participate in off-shift system support as necessary.
• Participate on department committees/teams within the IS department to develop various procedures/policies.
Education Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience:
• 3-5 years working with the Strategic Enterprise Management system..
• Have worked with the SAP R/3 and BW systems
• SAP certification in SEM is a plus
Complexity: Lead/Expert Performs work that is highly complex and varied in nature. Develops integrated solutions to resolve highly complex technical and business issues. Recognized expert internally and externally within a discipline(s))) and often provides strategic direction, guidance and integration of products and services. May lead projects and provide guidance/training to more junior staff.
