Job description Responsibilities
. Lead architecture and design engagements in enterprise landscape . Lead Thought Leadership in SAP NetWeaver space . Architecture and design solutions involving multiple technologies . Participate in the completion of all technical system project deliverables related to Enterprise Portal. . Participate in developing enterprise standards, practices and procedures to manage enterprise portal technologies based on "best practice" standards while ensuring developed architecture meets standards for security, reliability, and performance. . Develop a common technical framework to design and implement a consistent and standard architecture. . Collaborate with all areas of ERP technology including Functional teams, Basis, QA/QC, development, data management, and interfaces. . Lead enterprise portal functionality leveraging available iViews and determining iView integration, content and roles on EP. . Coach and train other personnel as required in support of managing the application and environment. Mentor application project teams through the system development life cycle, advise on the development of processes, functional components or interfaces for EP.
. Minimum 5-7 years of IT experience. . 5+ years of SAP Enterprise Portal experience, including 2 full SAP EP project life cycle implementations. . Expertise in designing J2EE/ WebDynpro/PDK based applications, Development Component (DC) , EPCF Eventing, design patterns/frameworks . Expertise in development using SAP NWDS, NWDI (DTR, CBS and CMS) ex. track, track integration and consolidation concepts . Expertise in Portal Administration, advanced concepts such as External Facing Portal, FPN . Knowledge in CE i.e Guided Procedures/ BPM etc. . Experience with integrating web technologies such as BSP (Business Server Pages) and WebDynpro Java/ABAP . Significant Knowledge & experience in Portal Themes, layouts, desktops etc. . Experience in Administration of Content Management, User Management, System Administration, and Knowledge Management & Collaboration . Knowledge of NW WAS, integrating SAP with other non-SAP applications and managing integration & SSO of SAP Portal with ERP, BI and other SAP/non-SAP systems . Significant Knowledge of Basis/ WAS, Transport Management, Visual admin etc . Knowledge of Business Processes in SAP Environment . Understanding of XML, especially with how it relates to the configuration of the Universal Worklist . Significant development experience using Java, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, Web DynPro, XML, WSDL, SOAP and related web services technologies . Implement and maintain enterprise portal iView configurations/integrations and perform iView Development (J2EE) to automate, support and enhance business processes by performing activities relating to different stages of the software development lifecycle in a project environment. . Perform Enterprise portal administration from both a knowledge management and business package perspective. Configure and administer Netweaver Portal components including iViews, Pages, Worksets, and Business Packages including role integration with ERP.
