Description/ Required Experience:
Our exclusive client is looking for a FI/CO ABAP programmer with the following skills:
- Senior level IT developer with minimum 5 years proven work experience with SAP ABAP R/3 system - 2-3 large implementation experiences - FI/CO experience with integration with SD modules - Must have expert knowledge in ABAP Workbench and ABAP development skills; Interface Technologies (BDC / EAI / BAPI / RFC ?etc.), Controls Framework, BADI, ALV Grids, SAP script/SmartForm, Module Pool/Dialog Programming, User-Exit programming, SAP Query, ABAP Dictionary - ABAP certification is a plus - Ability to bring best practices in ABAP development - Proven experience in developing inbound and outbound interfaces from/to SAP to external systems - Strong knowledge of SAP functional areas CRM, SD, PP, MM (Knowledge in FI and CO is desirable). - Other skill sets & experience that would be a plus on the project - Experience in CAF, Enhanced Framework, PI/XI, JAVA in SAP - Experience with EP (iViews, Web Dynpro, and BSP) - Strong knowledge and application of software development life cycle. - Must have proven experience and ability to effectively design review technical specifications to confirm solution meets functional requirements through an acceptable technical solution. - Must have proven experience writing and reviewing technical specifications. - Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills along with good analytical skills. - Must be able to work closely with both IT and Business teams. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Solid judgment and decision-making capabilities. - Must have can-do attitude and ability to think of alternative solutions when issues are presented. - Must be able to challenge assumptions and drive better solutions (from both business process as well as technical).
- Review of functional specifications for Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements (extensions), Forms, and Workflow (RICEFW) requirements for completeness from a functional requirement perspective (ensure sufficient information to allow technical specifications to be written). - Provide estimates on work level to design & build the RICEFW components as input to the project plan. - Assist in developing technical specification templates. - Develop technical specifications for RICEFW objects. - Mentor legacy application developers transitioning onto project.
