SAP Program Manager
The Services SAP & BW environments are amongst the largest implementations in the world. These environments support all aspects of HP's services business both post sale and outsourced or managed services. These platforms host billions of dollars of HP's business including all post sales support, services supply chain, software supply chain, managed print services and orders and contracts for HP Services.
As a member of the SAP & BW COE, you'll be working with one of the largest and most complex SAP implementations in the world. In your role as Technical Design/Project Leader, you'll be charged with:
- Engaging with business partners and other IT teams to formulate and structure technical projects.
- Developing and managing the project structure and team, reporting and communication for the project.
- Working through business requirements and designing technical solutions to meet business needs.
- Driving the execution of the deliverables from inception through to implementation.
- Challenging both business and IT to come up with the technical solution that can meet business needs effectively and efficiently.
This role requires strong knowledge of SAP and/or BW as well as a creative approach to problem solving. The ideal candidate would be able to engage with multiple levels within business and IT ranging from executive through analyst. This candidate would enjoy a fast paced environment which challenges him or her to "think outside the box" to deliver a solution that is technically sound quickly to meet rapidly changing business needs. He or she would enjoy working in a highly collaborative and flexible organization of solid technical resources.
Education and Experience Required:
Typically a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 12 years of related experience or a Master's degree and a minimum of 10 years experience.
PMP certification is preferred.
