Software Development Engineer in Test II What distinguishes from everyone else? We deliver truly cutting edge web technologies that include key strategic Microsoft features like Ajax, MVC and WebForms. You'll find our technologies used on high-profile, large-scale sites like MySpace and Dell. In order to be the best web development platform, we strive to be transparent and to release often - not only as part of the .NET framework release, but also out of band open source releases including MVC and Ajax Control Toolkit. In fact, has far more out of band releases than most of Microsoft. Our QA team practices agile testing for real, and is highly visible in the QA community with a podcast () and a testing automation framework of our own on CodePlex (). We are looking for an SDET that has a strong technical background and is willing to innovate and influence the way we do testing.
As part of our team, you will be a member of one or more cross-discipline crews tasked with releasing high quality, customer focused software. Your responsibilities will be:
o Define the test strategy, metrics and plan best suited for a given crew. o Manage and participate in the crew's test activities, including design reviews, code reviews, unit testing, exploratory testing, automation and application building. o Help the overall QA team design and develop automation frameworks and tools with the same level of quality as any shipping product.
Skills:
