BAE Systems is seeking a highly motivated, and well-organized individual with prior experience administering US government security policies and procedures to serve as Document Control Specialist. The individual will provide specialized expertise, guidance, advice, training, and support to employees in accordance with the NISPOM, Intelligence Community Directives, and the BAE Systems Security Practices and Procedures (SPP). The individual will be required to provide day-to-day document control security support to classified programs. Interface with external/internal customers to provide required documentation and proper security classifications in compliance with established security plans and customer directives. Establish and maintain a document control system. Prepare and maintain personnel files for program security briefings. Conduct closed work area security procedures (opening and closing areas, alarm response, security moves, escort duties (if applicable), properly handle classified material (receipt, transmittal, sign in/out, filing, wrapping, marking, destruction, distribution, courier, and various other Security responsibilities as required.)
Required Education:8+ Years with HS or 5+ Years with AA or 2+ Years with BSRequired Experience:Required Skills:The successful candidate will possess a minimum of two to five years experience consisting of SCI, and DoD collateral programs. Knowledge of, and experience with applying NSA, Defense Security Service (DSS) and NISPOM procedures to the security program is required. The successful candidate must also have knowledge of, and experience with developing and administering the Document Control ferred Skills:The successful candidate must be proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Working knowledge of Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) and Security Information Management Systems (SIMs). Candidate must possess a customer service focus, excellent interpersonal skills, and solid oral and written communications skills to effectively interact with staff personnel. A TOP SECRET w/SCI eligibility is desired.
