Responsibilities Include:* Preparing Investigative Reports* Presenting cases for prosecution* Serving as liaison with local, state, and federal agencies* Working independently with little or no supervision* Conducting, directing or evaluating Top Secret/Secret investigations with preferred experience in counterintelligence/espionage, counterterrorism, criminal matters, and personnel security investigations* Posses skills and knowledge regarding criminal and civil law and procedures, and enforcement operations; have documented extensive training provided at specialized facilities, combined with on-the-job training, as proof of the skills and knowledge to perform the duties of a federal investigative analyst consultant* Must have served as in a senior role responsible for planning and directing broad investigations of national or international scope; providing administrative and technical supervision over a staff of journeyman level criminal investigators* Provides documented experience planning, organizing, administering, and coordinating the full spectrum of investigative activities; and representing an organization as a recognized authority in the investigative field at conferences, meetings, and presentations involving issues of considerable importance

Position Requirements:* Minimum of 15 years federal law enforcement experience* Minimum of 5 years directly related experience analyzing investigations, record checks, and other information as necessary for the purpose of making a written record of the accuracy and completeness of the investigation and to make an accurate security adjudication decision* Experience conducting record checks utilizing appropriate databases and systems; prepare and type clear concise written reports in a timely manner, free of grammatical and spelling errors; rending highly effective personnel security adjudications based on an expert examination of the facts and supporting evidence; and conduct open source internet checks in support of investigations

* Minimum of 3 years experience developing and writing reports of investigation upon which a security and/or suitability adjudication record can be created
* Proficient computer skills to include:
o Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
o Use of internet to conduct research and/or open source checks in aid of investigations
o Ability to become acclimated to the various systems for conducting automated record checks
* Excellent Communication skills, both oral and written
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience to conduct highly effective traditional investigations, background investigations, and security investigations
* Active Top Secret Security Clearance
Requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent and eight to ten years of related experience.
