The Site Analytics group is responsible for delivering business insights and high impact analyses to the North American business. Within this group, teams partner with business unit clients to address strategic and operational questions facing the business including user behavior, supply and demand dynamics, performance measurement, and product and marketing efficiency.
We are currently looking for a seasoned database analyst to join the team. There will be a specific focus on analytics eBay's mobile business around specific platforms, such as iPhone/iPad/Android apps as well the effectiveness of marketing in driving acquisition, retention and growth. This individual will support the team and partner with the broader marketing analytics and mobile analytic teams to address the needs of the Marketing and other related stakeholders. In the process, this person will develop a deep understanding of eBay Marketplaces and mobile evolution, further strengthen their analytic, leadership and business skills, gain exposure to a wide variety of functional teams within eBay, and be part of a dynamic growth environment. Key Responsibilities:
* Manage marketing analysis for eBay’s mobile campaigns
* Collaborate with team members to determine analytic criteria and push the value in analysis by leveraging their knowledge of marketing, the eBay database and business structure
* Design, plan, prioritize and execute analysis per project specifications
* Compile analysis from other analytic teams and eBay site properties to help build comprehensive analytical view of the marketplace
* Drive fact based insights o support eBay Mobile’s growth and marketing effectiveness
Work cross-functionally with other teams to provide ad hoc analytics to help drive growth Job Requirements
Job Requirements
* Quick learner, understand the general business in e-Commerce/m-commerce industry
* Experienced in owning analytics
* Great sense with numbers, tables, charts, trend recognition
* Ability to integrate multiple data sources and extract insights from large and diversified data/results
* Actively engage with the dynamics around mobile, such as new mobile marketing technologies and m-commerce developments
* Ability to generate insights and view deliverables primarily in terms of business impact
