Your Opportunity at Intuit: As an Applications Developer in our fast paced team, you will design, develop and enhance the existing implementation of Oracle Apps. You will be expected to contribute towards the integration of Oracle eBiz suite with the other applications and subsequently towards the upgrade to R12.
You will be integral in the design, build and test phases of the implementation life cycle for the Oracle eBiz suite. You will be expected to facilitate resolution of conflicts that arise during the development lifecycle through effective partnership with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities will include the following: . Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine required software improvements and modifications . Continuously improve on technology implementation methodology . Become familiar with the products and architecture of current financial management solutions . Provide technical expertise and guidance to business partners in the process of evaluating, scoping and designing an implementation strategy . Ensure solutions conform to current industry standards as well as to Intuit's internal guidelines and standards . Resolve and work on issues across multiple functional areas. Effectively monitor and take action to ensure coordination and effectiveness of all components and activities and decide on issues requiring escalation Your Talents: Must have skills: . h/BE/MCA from reputed Educational Institutes with good. consistent academic record . 6+ years of experience with Oracle Apps with special emphasis on AR . Good hands-on experience related to Forms, Reports and PL/SQL . Minimum 3 years experience working with SQL and Relational Databases such as Oracle, DB2 and SQL Server . Detailed experience implementing Oracle Apps 11i is required. Exposure to R12 implementation would be a definite plus . Good working knowledge of Linux . Systems integration experience in large complex organizations . Assists in making right trade-offs on projects among functionality, performance, and delivery. . Good technical knowledge of broad architectural areas . Good knowledge of software design and implementation . Actively pursues staying abreast of industry trends and standards, recommending necessary changes in our architecture and educating developers as appropriate . Stays "close to the code" to remain knowledgeable of the day-to-day implementations Demonstrates creativity and inventiveness; able to apply knowledge and lead the way to fulfillment of company technical objectives . Ability to balance desire for "perfect" solutions and cost realities to achieve the best end-result for the product and the company . Shows understanding of and helps implement the company's product quality goals . Adheres to/helps develop departmental and company application development standards/guidelines . Excellent time management, communications and decision making skills. . Communicates and cooperates well with other disciplines both inside and outside the department . Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills. . Functions well under tight schedules, responds calmly and productively to high pressure situations
