Mission and Scope:
The ideal candidate will develop and maintain enterprise applications and databases, have the ability to take business challenges, turn them into technical documentation and create applications to automate the needs to satisfy the business challenge.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Build and enhance application/services that support the needs of the company.
Support and administrate enterprise applications/services.
Mentor other team members on best development practices.
Write technical specifications.
Requirements:
We’re Looking For…:
A B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years experience in the software engineering industry, including .net coding experience.
Minimum of 5 years MS, SQL, or Oracle development experience.
Minimum of 5 years experience with Microsoft or Pivotlink Business Intelligence.
Minimum 2 years experience working with .ASPx or SharePoint.
Good foundation in RDBMS technology, particularly Business Intelligence and Analytics solutions.
Strong background in Data Warehousing and Web Analytics environment.
Experience creating DataMarts, reports and dashboards from scratch a must.
Proven ability to create and maintain online and printed documentation.
Proven ability to work cross functionally to deliver appropriate resolution of technical, procedural, and operational issues.
Strong customer service skills to act as a single point of contact for business users with data and technology requests.
Demonstrated superb software design and software implementation skills.
Clear end to end understanding of all aspects of the software development process.
Demonstrated skills to understand and translate partner/end user requirements into technical specifications.
Ability to establish and sustain credibility with peers and all company employees.
Experience with retail information systems is desired.
Possess excellent communication skills, speaking with tact and courtesy to effectively communicate, listen, and coach.
Experience with Dynamics AX/POS is preferred.
Read, speak, write and understand the English language.
This position is a sedentary position performed in an office environment.
