Senior Applications Developer
Kelly IT Resources is looking for a Senior Applications Developer to work for one of our clients in San Diego. This is a fulltime direct hire opportunity.
Position Title: Senior Applications Developer Location: San Diego, CA Duration: DH/FTE
Required Responsibilities:
Specifically looking for someone with UI experience that is very strong with DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, etc.
Applying commercial software development experience with: Java, JavaScript, DHTML Experience with one or more presentation frameworks such as JSP, EXT-JS, GWT
Designing high-traffic, horizontally scalable, web applications
Optimizing application software
Testing and benchmarking high performance, near real time applications
Building and maintaining working relationships with technical counterparts across functional teams
Collaborating with other functional groups within the organization such as operations and product management
Provide technical advice and act as a resource for in-depth technical discussions and also act as the 'go-to' technical expert for questions regarding the presentation and or service layers. Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements derivation through delivery in an agile environment. Actively contribute to the continuous improvement processes Researching and keeping up to date with the latest technologies Meeting and exceeding expectations regarding schedule, features, quality and personal interactions.
Experience/Qualifications: 8+ years of experience preferred 2 years professional experience in commercial web-based software development and application design. Solid analytical problem solving ability Solid foundation in OOP and Design Patterns Demonstrated ability to work with limited supervision Experience with open source test frameworks A minimum B.S. degree, or equivalent, in a technical field.
