Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. seeks a Senior Business Analyst for the WBCAS Corporate Finance & Planning department. The Sr. Business Analyst - Tax/Assets is responsible for performing complex business systems analysis services for the Corporate Tax, Asset Accounting, Finance, Accounting, and Reporting applications. The Sr. Business Analyst is the primary liaison between the business community, technology organization and external partners for project requirements during the analysis phase of a project. He or she is responsible for proactively conducting interviews with all project stakeholders to elicit functional requirements, modeling those requirements in an organized manner, then managing and communicating those requirements throughout the project life cycle. Upon establishment of the requirements baseline, he or she will address change management issues and assist in test planning, oversight and develop solution deployment options in collaboration with business sponsors. This position must have complete familiarity with the technologies and applications available to Warner Bros., and a deep understanding of financial business processes, including fixed asset processes. Candidates with knowledge of federal and state tax laws, regulations are preferred.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Ownership for synthesizing the overall Business Process Solution based on business requirements.
* Conducts functional impact analysis for new capabilities and for changes to existing capabilities; evaluate and prioritize solution enhancements.
* Facilitates application design sessions and moderates other discussions as necessary.
* Executes project tasks throughout the project lifecycle, inclusive of blueprint design sessions, construction of business scenarios for testing, preparation of test plans and obtaining end user acceptance testing, and preparing project stabilization plans.
* Reviews the business process after implementation to ensure it is operating as designed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
* BA/BS degree required.
* SAP FICO or BI certification desired but not required.
* Approximately 5+ years of experience in an Information Services Application Development/Support role or other related field.
* Experience implementing process and system changes to existing process and live productive applications is critical.
* Knowledge of enterprise system software solutions and the integration of business process design to final solution determination.
* Familiarity working in a matricized organization including internal and external (3rd party service provider) resources highly desirable.
* Specific understanding of key technical components required to provide functional and operational support to the business, including effort estimates and resource management required.
* Prior experience in defining and developing systems requirements.
* Entertainment industry experience is desirable.
* Knowledge of transactional and analytical process around financial and corporate taxation business process (subject matter expert).
* Knowledge of federal and state tax laws, regulations and other relevant authority is desired.
* Extensive knowledge of the SAP Financials solution and related applications including the Business Warehouse toolset supporting corporate common financials processes.
* Requirements definition and realization.
* Business process design and modeling, JAD (Joint Application Development) models and methodology experience highly desirable.

* Knowledge of basic GAAP accounting and reporting principles is preferred.
* Knowledge of enterprise architecture framework and business modeling is desired.
* Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with persons on all levels.
