We are currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst for our Livonia, MI, business unit, to participate on a long-term strategic project focused on Consumer Marketing. The core of the project is centered around data warehousing, business intelligence and CRM. The ideal candidate will have direct experience working on business intelligence and consumer marketing initiatives, as well as hands-on experience facilitating and gathering business requirements.
The Business Analyst works as a liaison among stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate business and functional requirements in support of business needs. This person must understand business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommended solutions. They will work closely with internal business partners, design teams, QA teams, development teams, Project Managers, and Architecture teams.
Experience Required:
* Strong organizational skills.
* Experience guiding projects from start to finish.
* Extensive experience eliciting requirements with stakeholders in facilitated sessions and/or personal interviews.
* Ability to define and document business requirements, business process ("As-Is/To Be") flows and diagrams.
* Ability to research and prioritize business, functional, information, and non-functional requirements.
* Experience documenting requirements in standard formats such as use cases, stories, catalogs, and modeling tools.
* Strong customer focus and management of client expectations; ability to establish and maintain a high level of user trust and confidence in the group.
* Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong consulting skills.
* Ability to present and explain project specific information to diverse types of audiences.
* Experience using RUP, Hyperion, Cognos.
* Experience using rapid prototyping and visualization tools such as iRise preferred.
