Position Description Chartis has an opportunity for a Business Analyst in its Market Analytics CoE group.
Performance objectives for this positions are as follows:
. Gathers and analyzes information for Commercial Lines, responding to business problems and providing insight to Chartis's commercial businesses globally;
. Identifies trends and opportunities and works with the business units to implement and monitor marketing initiatives;
. Responds to business problems and provides insight to Chartis commercial business globally;
. Utilizes both internal sources of information (submission/policy/claims systems, etc.) and external sources (D&B and others);
. Handles topics determined by business requests and issues and opportunities identified;
. Receives and presents results and recommendations through various reports, emails, cover notes, as well as automation of recurring analysis/reports;
. Works closely with the business community, both internationally and domestically, as well as with overall staff. Position Requirements . Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Math, Information Technology and/or Computer Science or equivalent combination of work experience and education.
. High level/advanced proficiency of Microsoft Access and Excel required. Knowledge of other software packages: SQL, SAS, Angoss Knowledge STUDIO, SPSS, GIS preferred.
