We are currently recruiting for a Senior Business Analyst for the Information Business with a focus on Analytics.
The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for creating the business and functional requirements necessary for creating software that meets customer needs, meets expected delivery dates, and delivers exceptional quality.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES . Analyzes business requirements and translates into product-specific designs, UI prototypes, detailed requirement definitions, and use cases. . Evaluates and researches enhancement requests to define the problem, goals, and desired resultant functionality. Partners closely with the Solution Manager for prioritization. . Communicates with internal and external customers during the initial design phase for new functionality to assess and define requirements. Coordinates internal and external forums regularly throughout the year. . Conducts site visits as needed to identify additional enhancements needed and to evaluate use case scenarios. . Assists Support, Education, Sales and Implementation Specialist Teams with questions and issues from clients, RFPs and prospective clients. . Communicates with product developers and QA specialists on product issues. . Conducts extended support investigations to duplicate software errors and inconsistencies that may require development intervention. Prepares written specifications as needed to clearly communicate any needed changes to development. . Interfaces with Development and QA to answer software application and business use questions during the development and testing process. . Works with development to estimate scope and effort for projects. . Develop user acceptance criteria in support of beta process. Works as the primary liaison between Support and Development during beta. . Reviews software documentation created by the Education department for accuracy. . Participates in internal training for Support and Implementation specialists on new software functionality.

Strong organizational skills utilizing complex industry information as needed. . Ability to work in a multi-discipline team environment.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE . Bachelor's degree with at least 5-7 years of healthcare IT experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. . Experience with data warehousing, UI prototyping, data visualization and analytics. . Basic SQL skills . Experience with agile development methodologies
