The primary role of a Senior Business Performance Analyst is to providing intelligence (data) and recommendations to support on-going business. Responsibilities will include day-to-day business planning activities to support Consumer Direct contact center operations including sales reporting, call forecasting, agent performance, quality, customer satisfaction, key metrics reporting and other critical data points.
The Senior Business Performance Analyst will be providing general statistical modeling in support of existing and proposed Key Performance Indicators. Duties will include utilizing data system ("Orbit") to develop reports on a regular intervals (weekly, monthly, etc.), ensuring data integrity and resolving irregularities as needed; creating various online reports on a regular intervals (weekly, monthly, period end, etc.) to ensure data integrity and resolve irregularities; tracking key metrics for contact center business (ex. contact volume, conversion, returns, speed to answer, average handle time, etc) and reporting on a regular basis and providing analysis of new programs (ex. chat, click to call, auto response, other new services) and validate business model. Other responsibilities will involve extracting data from analytics reporting system and working with operations and sales teams to define and report on Key Performance Indicators and sharing standard reports with appropriate teams as needed (Finance, Operations, Sales, DBM, Business Development); handling process improvement and continuous modification of reports to include relevant data based on the needs of the business unit(s); and investigating, developing and implementing quantitative and qualitative decision making tools.
* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience, required; Coursework in Information Systems is a plus * Minimum of 4 years of experience with financial, sales or other relevant performance related reporting with financial analysis experience, required * Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, required; Experience with Cognos, preferred * Experience with database structures and automated report building, required * Must have excellent strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills * Proven track record of high performance within a fast-paced business environment, and the ability to organize, prioritize and multitask effectively * Excellent communications skills, including interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation * Outstanding collaboration skills, with proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders across business lines to accomplish shared goals, required Sony Electronics is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values employees with a broad cross-cultural perspective.
