Description
The Senior Business Systems Analyst will deliver and provide guidance to the teams that define and build electronic survey analytical tools and services. These tools deliver pay, employee benefit and expatriate information to clients via on-line services, published surveys and reports and analysis commissioned by external and internal clients. This role gathers data requests, analyzes client expectations and rationalizes such into an application solution, documenting requirements against template frameworks, peer reviews draft documents from other staff members, validates with clients and Product Managers, then delivers to clients and IPS Solution Delivery Group members. To fulfill this role, the Senior Business Systems Analyst will:
* Define requirements definition of client survey requests for pay, employee benefit, and expatriate employee information * Meet with Product Manager and clients (primarily internal clients) to define their information requests, using requirements forms, related to a particular survey application. * Document the client and delivery requirements in MS Word documents using a best practice framework and store in Livelink or other on-line repository. * Review with Product Manager and client for clarification and agreement. Deliver to IPS Solutions Delivery team members for application development and QA testing. * Update and maintain requirements documents throughout application development lifecycle. * Provide direct guidance and advice as subject matter expert on specific product tools to internal application users and Product Managers to properly configure survey application tools to run moderate to complex survey analytical projects. * Run data analysis to evaluate application usage trends to identify improvement opportunities.
Qualifications
* Bachelors degree; technical discipline preferred * 6 - 10 years experience in business analyst, software product QA, or business or Human Resource subject matter expertise role * Good oral and written communication skills * Good organizational skills * Creative problem solving * Analytical skills * Strong MS Word skills * Subject matter expert in a specific topic of area of analysis they are performing (e.g. HR or employee benefits)
