To successfully deliver a typical project in this senior role, experience must include 4+ years in the following: * Cognos Framework Manager and Cognos 8 BI or ReportNet, Metrics Studio/Manager, and Analysis Studio/Transformer or PowerPlay. * Have 5+ years of experience as an IT consultant, programmer analyst, DBA or BI data modeler * Possess an in-depth knowledge of Framework Manager using 2 and 3 tier models * Experience implementing object level security within Framework Manager * Experience writing SQL, including stored procedures / SQL programming * Possess an in-depth understanding of the Data Warehousing Life Cycle and dimensional data modeling concepts as authored by Ralph Kimball * Ability to work diplomatically with business users to gather accurate requirements * Mentor others, train / instruct end-users and help deploy applications to user communities * Demonstrate excellent spoken and written English language communications skills * Willingness to travel up to 100% of the time (home on weekends) * Enjoy the opportunity to enhance skills and abilities through company-sponsored training * Enjoy working in small project teams of 3-10 consultants as well as working independently on some projects * Take pride in responsibly delivering quality products on-time and solving business problems creatively Required Experience: Education: B.S. Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or equivalent plus 5 years experience in a job as a Consultant, Programmer Analyst, Database Administration or, related IT position; Strong business acumen highly desirable.
