This will be a long term W2 Contract, $80-$100/hr, with the possibility of going PERMANENT!
Main Responsibilities: Design, develop and support complex reports, Dashboards, KPI Assist in requirement gathering/analysis Unit and system test BI solutions; assist users in UAT process Design, develop, and support of the overall Cognos Framework model Perform Cognos installs and software upgrades, if needed Manage and administer Cognos dev, test and production environments including security, configuration, Cognos portal Develop and maintain technical documentation Implement best practices on Cognos tools Position Requirements:
Must have skills: Minimum 5 years of report development experience Extremely proficient in Cognos 8.4 Report Studio with Oracle or SQL Server and MOLAP cube as data sources Experience in Framework manager Expertise in Cognos Connection Cognos administration experience in production environment Understanding of MOLAP cubes like SSAS Knowledge of SDLC in BI projects High-level understanding on data warehouse modeling concepts Oracle SQL knowledge Excellent communicator Ability to multitask
Nice to have skills: Knowledge of reporting on ERP and/or CRM data Experience in Cognos Query Studio, Cognos Go Dashboard / Cognos 10 Business Insight Experience in upgrading Cognos from 8.4 to 10 Build mapping per specification in Informatica using PowerCenter Please Note: Reference and Background check required Drug Screen is required MUST be immediately available for a face to face interview
