Your Opportunity As a B2B Senior Consultant with Informatica Professional Services (IPS), you will provide product expertise and data management knowledge to deliver the most architecturally efficient and cost effective solution for our customer's data integration projects. Informatica's data integration product suite comprises robust, scalable, enterprise-level tools used by Fortune 500 organizations for data management projects like data warehousing, data quality, data migration, data synchronization. The Senior Consultant will work closely with the customer, other Informatica consultants and customer/partner resources, Sales, Global Customer Support and Product Management to ensure customer's success and satisfaction with our products and services and contribute to their long-term loyalty. This position requires a highly skilled senior level consultant with Data Architecture, RDBMS and Real Time Workflow design experience. The successful candidate will support the B2B client implementations with in-depth B2B expertise. Working either independently, with or within a team, you will have the opportunity to work at the front end in a rapidly growing business.

Key Responsibilities ? Manage the customer relationship by serving as the single point of contact before, during and after engagements ? Architect data management solutions based on customer needs and Informatica products ? Provide technical leadership to other Informatica consultants and/or customer/partner resources ? Design, develop, test and deploy data integration solutions in accordance with customer's schedule ? Supervise and mentor intermediate and junior level team members ? Provide training and enablement for the customer ? Apply Informatica's Velocity Methodology and Best Practices at customer sites with ability to coach and mentor customers in the adoption of Velocity ? Author and publish knowledgebase articles and serve as a go-to resource within the practice for technical information. ? Provide regular reports to communicate project status both internally and externally
? Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology or MCA ? 7 to 12 years of experience in B2B, Data Integration projects, EDI integration, Data Hub Management projects ? Expert-level skills in a majority of Informatica Products (B2B, PowerCenter with real time and Webservices implementation experience) ? Expert-level skills in any major data Transformation engine (Sterling Commerce, IBM TX ) ? Expert-level database skills in Oracle and/or DB2/UDB. ? Thorough understanding of data modeling, physical schema properties. ? Hands-on experience and intermediate scripting skills in Operating Systems (Windows, Unix and Linux) ? Experience designing and deploying in a Services Oriented Architecture and/or an Events Driven Architecture ? Experience with messaging software ? Ability to "think big" and grasp the overall picture, including the business drivers ? Must be able to solve problem outside your areas of expertise ?
