Title: Senior Consultant

The Company: CAST is the world leader and pioneer in the Software Analysis and Measurement space. CAST is an enterprise software vendor with an expanding base in Europe and a fast-growing presence in North America (>100% growth in the US in 2010 so far). CAST develops and markets enterprise software products that enable IT leadership at Fortune 1,000 and Federal Agencies to improve the quality of mission critical applications and assess the quantity of work performed by in-house or outsourced application development teams. The U.S. field organization cannot handle the growing demand and must be expanded to avoid constraining growth. CAST is listed on NYSE-Euronext (Euronext: CAS).

Role: The sales organization sells professional services to implement the products purchased by customers and to enable them to become self sufficient in the use of the CAST products. The post sales consultants deliver the professional services. As such, post sales consultants work with the customers’ teams to implement the CAST products after customers licensed them. The focus on post-sales consultants is follow the CAST implementation methodology to deliver value to customers and enable them to become self-sufficient in the use of CAST products.

 Requirements: The preferred candidate will have experience with developing applications and the system development life cycle (SDLC), consulting in post-sales or a similar role, and be fully conversant with and experienced in at least one recognized sales methodology. 

  • Bachelors Degree (technical major desirable); Masters Degree a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years software development experience (developer, system analyst, technical project management)
  • Experience with object-oriented programming languages (JAVA, C++, .Net…)
  • Solid knowledge of Relational DBMS Oracle or MSSQL (Sybase, DB2 a plus)
  • Solid knowledge of System Development Life Cycle concepts and software development iterative and non-iterative development models (Agile, Iterative, waterfall...). Familiarity with the CMMI model is a plus
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Must be customer focused and have the ability to manage and solve complex technical issues
  • Ability to travel as needed throughout the US and Canada (up to 70%)
  • Proven ability to gain cooperation of others
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Ability to interact with senior level of an organization is required.
  • Highly motivated, hands on personality
  • Ability to multitask and work independently toward stated business goals.

Compensation: Commensurate experience, a base salary and highly competitive on-target earnings MBO bonus. Comprehensive benefits package including 401(k).
