Job Description: The Contracts Administrator will work closely with our FAA organization and report directly to the Manager of Contracts of a growing high tech company. Responsibilities include compliance with government and corporate regulations, supporting all aspects of the contracts process including Source Selection, Proposal Preparation and Review, Negotiation as appropriate, dispute resolution, and general contracts administration.
Duties include but are not limited to: - Ability to draft simple contractual instruments in accordance with prescribed templates and guidelines - Ability to correctly complete and execute certifications and representations in support of Proposals - Ability to prepare contracts closeout package for execution - Preparation and administration of routine correspondence and contract documentation. - Ability to prepare, organize and maintain contract records and files documenting contract performance and compliance - Ability to draft synopsis in support of major Requests for Proposals. - Ability to perform analysis of terms and conditions in Requests for Proposal, identifying those terms or conditions that merit an exception or modification - Ability to successfully interact and positively influence program members, business unit management teams, senior project or product managers, and customers/suppliers - Ability to assure compliance with the terms and conditions of contracts, including resolutions of issues concerning the obligations of the parties - Ability to draft modified/revised language for terms and conditions in response to an RFP - Ability to determine appropriate flow down provisions for subcontracts and material procurement - Exercises judgment within defined procedures and processes and implements appropriate actions as required - May interact with internal or external customers on specific contracts issues - Receives general instructions on assigned routine tasks with more detailed instructions on new assignments or projects - Works with moderate guidance on projects with short-term focus
Experience Required: - 3+years experience in contract administration - Strong analytical and communication skills - Working knowledge of Oracle or other ERP system - The ability to obtain a Security Clearance is required for this position.
