Description
Camber is seeking a highly qualified Data Base Developer to provide support to the Office of Naval Research. Position requires a BS Degree in a technology, business or related curriculum (Masters preferred). You must have 10 years of experience working with SQL Server with one or more of the following certifications: MCDBA, MCSE, or MCSD. The successful candidate will have: - Experience leading DBA development teams - Thorough knowledge of data backup, recovery, and rollback planning/implementation - Thorough knowledge of data security issues and managing internal and external database security - Experience with database and server migrations - Strong performance tuning and optimization skills - Experience with SAN, Disaster Recovery - Experience with OLTP, OLAP and data warehousing - Experience with SSAS and SSIS - Experience creating and operating DB release processes - Strong problem solving and analytical skills - Experience with SAN, Disaster Recovery, Patching, and normal DB maintenance - Experience developing tiered applications and production Internet architectures
The Contractor shall provide support which includes: - Providing support to the ONR NAVRIS Oracle based application residing on the ONR legacy network. Shall maintain a daily Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) process to extract data from multiple sources and load into a data warehouse to maintain data quality. - Provide DBA development efforts in support of the ONR Legacy Network Maintenance systems - Provide DBA development efforts in support of the ONR Engineering, testing, analysis, and integration lab. - Provide DBA development efforts in support of the ONR mission critical applications and BI component to the NAVRIS application. - Provide DBA development efforts in support of the ONR C4 initiatives for the SIPRNET, DREN and NIPRNET Web and SQL Server Database efforts.
