Description: You will be part of a distributed development team that builds industry-leading Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions for one of the most respected names in computer security. The RSA engineering team employs many of the leading thinkers in the data security industry, and engineers on the DLP team are constantly challenged by the complexity of problems we are trying to solve, the variety of environments in which our products are deployed, and incredible diversity of data our products analyze. As a founding member of the DVT team within DLP, you will be primarily responsible for integrating system components and verifying product behaviors against architectural principles, performance and stability requirements, and interoperability needs. This will be a multi-faceted role, working with technologies ranging from analyzing networking packet traffic to reviewing data representation models in GUIs. You will be interacting with the developers on a daily basis, carrying out “crystal-box” testing during phased product integrations. At other times, you’ll be specifying and/or building tools to make development and integration processes more efficient, or gathering data to characterize product performance and capabilities. Requirements: · The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years relevant experience and all these skills: · Fluency in at least one of: C/C++, C#/.NET, Python, Java. JavaScript or Perl · Proficiency in object-oriented design using design patterns and refactoring · Windows or Linux system programming skills and good OS internals expertise · Successful design, development and delivery of distributed application software · Excellent oral and written communication skills on complex technical subjects · Proven ability to be effective and efficient in a world-wide development team · The ideal candidate should also have professional experience in two or more of: · Distributed application development using TCP sockets, XML RPC, .NET or RCF · Administering high-availability, mission-critical large-company IT infrastructures · Design and deployment of Domain Controller and Active Directory servers · Design and development of large-scale complex test automation frameworks · Performance measurement and analysis of complex distributed software systems. · Design of software engineering processes, build systems or test automation tools · User experience and interaction design for complex network operations systems.
