Senior Director - R&D Equifax has a new career opportunity for a Senior Director, R&D in our Modeling and Analytics business unit. This position will sit at our Alpharetta office.Position Description
Accountable for the design of innovative new solutions, including leading the development of those solutions, focused on maximizing the value of NCTUE+ (National Consumer Telecommunications Utility and Energy) data. Work together with Product Managers, Sales Consultants and Technology teams to drive new product ideas and ensure new solutions are implemented in an efficient manner. In addition to delivering on product initiatives agreed upon with Product Management, this position is responsible for research to help develop product ideas, leverage new data sources, expand analytical techniques and support in building infrastructure to further generate value in Equifaxs NCTUE+ business. Work within the NPI process to produce feasibility analysis, prototype models and full new product deliverables. Accountable for project management and ensuring quality deliverables of developed solutions. Learn about NCTUE+ data source and represent Modeling and Analytics business unit in data and technology discussions surrounding NCTUE+ data. Generate analytical approaches to demonstrate business value; to be used by sales for value based pricing. Work with the larger analytics teams to find opportunities to share research and incorporate other work that could benefit the various analytics initiatives across Modeling and Analytics. Will be required to manage statisticians and assist in training/mentoring of ition Requirements
7+ years experience in credit, utility, marketing, fraud and/or collections arena 2+ years managing teams of statisticians Ability to communicate with senior management, both internally and externally Experience with the development of risk and/or marketing products and solutions is required Knowledge of credit bureau, customer application, utility payment and/or demographic data Project management experience including leading statistical resources on projects Ability to clearly present statistical solutions to non statistical people Ability to create new ideas for statistical solutions to customers' business issues Experience building logistic and linear regression solutions, knowledge of alternative modeling methodologies preferred Experience with developing optimization solutions is a plus Master's degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or other related discipline Experience with SAS within a UNIX environment is preferred
