The Patient Care and Clinical Informatics (PCCI) Business Group Financial Planning and Analysis team is responsible for all PCCI management reporting, analysis, and forecasting. This is a large and growing business group that develops, manufactures, and sells patient monitors, best of suite clinical information systems, clinical measurements, surveillance and networking applications, as well as AED and ALS defibrillators. Philips' Patient Care and Clinical Informatics is a global leader in most of the segments in which it competes. It is a dynamic and growing business that is aggressively extending its addressable markets through well-chosen organic investments as well as strategic acquisitions and partnerships.
Your Responsibilities: This is a high profile growth opportunity within the PCCI finance team. The FP&A team consists of members in Boeblingen, Germany and Andover, MA. The team's main responsibility is to provide the Business Group and Philips Healthcare management with results reports, analysis, and forecasts. The group also provides support and analysis on PCCI level functions and initiatives. The successful candidate will build financial reports and analytical models to support running this dynamic business. Specific areas of responsibility include:
.Prepare results package for Business Group and Philips Healthcare senior management. .Coordinate and support development of the annual budget and forecast revisions. .Strengthen management reporting, emphasizing leading indicators. .Support Business Group level functions (e.g. marketing). .Support the annual strategic planning process. .Perform financial evaluation, risk analysis and financial control for PCCI Business Group initiatives. .Various ad-hoc projects.
This is a hands-on role that requires managing several tasks and projects simultaneously and shifting priorities as the demands of the business evolve.
Your Profile: This position requires:
.A degree in finance or accounting and a minimum of three years experience. The candidate should have previous financial planning or business unit finance experience and possess knowledge of U.S. GAAP or IFRS, as well as financial statements (income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement). Knowledge of SAP and databases (e.g. business data warehouse and business objects) a plus.
.Strong interpersonal and communication skills. This individual must effectively communicate with and gain the respect of the team members, BU Controllers, and functional leads.
.Advanced analytical skills are required to prepare and analyze financial information. Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills and attention to detail are required.
.High motivation and organization. Several activities must be balanced simultaneously and reprioritized as the demands of the business evolve. A strong goal-orientation and high energy level are critical.
