Five to Seven years of relevant financial analysis experience, including budgeting, forecasting and consolidations. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential as well as strong initiative and the ability to work well in a team environment. Advanced computer (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc) and systems (HPF, PS, FDW,etc) skills are required. *CPA a plus. MBA a plus.
Duties: Consolidate and analyze Entertainment and AYAKM P&L results for Actual and Forecast for presentation to the SVP of Finance. This position requires the ability to analyze and understand the business drivers for all variance explanations. Routine interaction with the consolidating business units (Linear and Digital Networks) as well as other business partners (Film Management, TB Sales, TNS, CP&R, etc.). Participate in the preclose meeting with senior management where results are presented through rollforwards and summary Opportunities / Risks schedules. Produce monthly reporting package for our primary clients, which includes consolidated financial results, quarterly analysis, financial reports as well as individual business unit results. Verify CP&R P&L and Intercompany sign off and prepare segment level corporate deliverables. Responsible for determining and developing efficiencies that will improve our various processes and reports and ensure consistency across all companies. Develop and produce ad hoc analysis as requested from management. Assist in budget analysis as required including preparing quarterly analysis for budget vs base year.
