Responsibilities: The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key decision support role for all business units at LoJack Corporation. In this capacity, the Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for the timely and accurate reporting of the financial results for the assigned business units including revenue, cost of sales and operating expenses. The incumbent will provide profitability analysis for all pricing strategies and promotional plans which impact the assigned business units. They will prepare and provide analysis of all financial information including monthly and total year estimates, Rolling Forecasts, Marketing Plans and Annual Budgets for the assigned business units. This key player will also be responsible for developing and maintaining KPI reports and dashboards, monitoring and reporting on sales performance, and proactively identifying and analyzing volume, pricing, and cost mix trends. The Senior Financial Analyst will also participate in preparing ROI analyses for engineering and capital investments and in preparing reporting packages for the Board of Director and Senior Management Team. Finally, this person will also prepare ad-hoc analyses and reports as needed; and contribute to and/or lead special projects.
Job Requirements: Requirements: ? Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. ? 5-7 years of progressive financial analysis experience, ideally out of a global company. ? Current/recent experience in a functional support role. ? Superior analytical and quantitative/critical thinking skills. ? Strong understanding of business & accounting concepts and principles. ? Proven capabilities in financial modeling. ? Strong business acumen with the ability to understand the business segments being supported. ? Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and quality. ? Strong oral and written communication skills. ? Ability to work well with individuals & teams from across the organization. ? Advanced proficiency in Excel is must. ? Experience using a Data warehouse tool.
