This position is comprised of the following responsibilities: Accountable for reviewing and interpreting IFRS standards, and the application of knowledge, to ensure completeness, accuracy and conformity of financial statements. Exercises judgment to determine appropriate course of action and prepares recommendations to management based on sound review of standards and business practices. Facilitates the external audit financial processes, effectively communicating and advising throughout all levels of the organization and the external audit team. Responsible for the facilitation of key reserve processes and methodologies, interpretation of transactions that require special treatment (acquisitions, deferrals, accruals, etc) and advising finance and control teams on application of IFRS principles.
Requirements: -BS in Finance OR Accounting (CPA preferred) -4-7 years of relevant experience -Excellent Communication skills (both oral & written) -Strong systems knowledge (SAP & Hyperion preferred) -Ability to work well both individually as well as in a group
