Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Advisor
Title: Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Advisor Location: On-Toronto The Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Advisor will work closely with the newly created Engineering Services team to develop and implement efficient and effective financial processes. These responsibilities include, analyzing and reporting actual and forecasted results, providing recommendations to management, developing a strategic and operational Engineering Services plan. The Senior Advisor will also assist Management in developing the annual TPS (Total Product Spend) plan, forecasts and reporting the actual results. In addition, assist with the reporting of results to the Executive team and the Board of Directors.
Performs tasks such as, however not limited to, the following: · Work closely with Engineering Services to develop and implement financial reporting and forecasting processes · Consolidate the Engineering Services financial results, analyze and communicate the results · Develop and implement a process to review Engineering Services spend results · Develop and implement a process to cross charge Core Engineering Services spend · Assist to consolidate, analyze and communicate the TPS spend · Assist in developing and implementing a process to review the actual and forecasted results with the requirement management team · Assist in developing the TPS Strategic and Operational plan · Assist with the monthly variance analysis · Assist with the monthly and quarterly reporting to the Executive Committee and Board of Directors · Various ad hoc analyses · Working knowledge of Celestica's Finance and Operational Organizations, including strategic policies and objectives · Ability to evaluate, prioritize, and problem solve a variety of tasks to ensure timely and accurate completion · Ability of recommend process changes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the financial reporting and forecasting processes · Ability to summarize key highlights and make recommendations to management in a clear and concise manner · Perform financial sensitivity analysis against key factors within the required time and ensure the work performed is accurate and complete · Strong knowledge of basic computer applications such as Khalix and SAP and/or the ability to learn these applications quickly. · Strong verbal and written communication skills, to effectively present to peers and management.
Experience/Education · Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance · CA, CMA, CGA or CPA designation or equivalent is desired
