Specifically with Informatica. ?¢ Strong data profiling skills. ?¢ Strong UNIX skills (i.e. Korn Shell scripting). ?¢ Senior SQL skills. ?¢ Experience and knowledge of data architecture and concepts of relational and dimensional databases. ?¢ Ability to implement re-usable data-integration/ETL code in an enterprise data-warehouse environment. ?¢ Ability to read and understand COBOL programs, copybooks and files. ?¢ Experience with sync sort, Maestro (TWS) and PVCS. ?¢ Ability to work well in a challenging environment. ?¢ Strong troubleshooting skills. ?¢ Excellent writing skills, oral communication skills, strong process skills, and leadership ability. ?¢ Ability to multi-task and prioritize. ?¢ Examine and solve the performance bottlenecks in the ETL process. Key Accountabilities ?¢ Analyze, define and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interface with other systems, internal and external checks, controls, and outputs. ?¢ Coordinate coding, testing, implementation, integration and documentation of solution. Develop program specifications. ?¢ Perform complex applications programming activities. Code, test, debug, document, maintain, and modify complex applications programs. ?¢ Assist Business Analyst in performing investigation, analysis and evaluation to determine business requirements. ?¢ Design, develop and maintain ETL specific code. ?¢ Database design and reporting tools experience. ?¢ Expertise in SQL. ?¢ Experience working with large data sources, preferably DB2 and SQL server. ?¢ Senior level knowledge and experience with ETL tools (Informatica). Knowledge and experience with software development. ?¢ Provide support in the implementation of processes within the QA and production environments. ?¢ Possesses good analytical skills for complex problem solving. ?¢ Demonstrates good communication skills both written and verbal. ?¢ Demonstrates leadership and independence.
