DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
CACI will develop webMethods based integrations between Momentum, a COTS financial management system from CGI for Defense and Federal agencies, and various application systems in use at a large Federal agency within the U.S. Government. The effort will replace the agency's legacy mainframe based Federal Financial System (FFS) with a COTS based integrated financial management system to standardize financial business processes, consolidate reporting and management functions and modernize the information technology environment. We are looking for candidates with strong development skills and desire to advance their skills in a challenging environment to help build these integrations/interfaces.
Responsibilities include:
* Understand the Interface/Integration Requirements,
* Work with Business Analysts to help them analyze the requirements and formulate sound strategy in implementing them in the interfaces,
* Work with Technical Analysts/Programmer Analyst staff to translate the requirements into a sound design.
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of a group of junior and mid-level developers - manage their task assignments so that their activities are completed as required by the overall project schedule.
* Build the interface/integration code using webMethods Integration platform (7.1.2), as and when required, especially when the interface/integration requirements require the involvement of a seasoned webMethods resource.
* Coordinate interface/integration system and integration and acceptance testing activities, including issue resolution so that tasks are completed in timely manner.
* Coordinate interface deployment activities with the Implementation team for successful deployment.
* Work with development staff and Technical Documentation staff to ensure completion of all required documentation for interfaces and integrations,
* Work with Implementation staff in managing the development, testing and staging interface environments.
* Mentor and train junior staff by sharing best practices and lessons learned from past implementation efforts.
* Candidate might identify process improvement opportunities.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* 7-9 years of experience in software development involving Java, J2EE, Oracle, Weblogic, Tuxedo, and SQL
* 3 years of experience in developing integrations with webMethods.
* Experience in building large-scale interfaces/integrations is desired.
* Previous experience in Oracle Weblogic, Tuxedo, BIRT, Business Objects is desired.
* Strong communication skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage activities of a team is required.
* Previous experience in implementing financial management systems for government agencies or providing post-implementation support will be a plus.
* Candidate should exhibit a superior degree of discretion and autonomy.
* Typically requires bachelor's degree (in Computer Science or related field) or equivalent, and seven to nine years of related experience. null
