Responsibilities: * Work in a small, high-performance team environment developing Java applications. * Serve as a senior-level technologist, capable of developing code, configuring environments, and deploying technical solutions. * Lead the design, development, and integration of independent modules of an enterprise-level, web-based application. * Configure local, integration, and production environments for project development and deployment. * Support quick-turnaround application development in an agile environment.
Qualifications: * Highly proficient in Java application development, including the use of Spring and Hibernate. * Working knowledge of application server configuration and services, including Sun Glassfish and/or Jboss. * Experience using Subversion, Eclipse, MyEclipse, and Maven. * Ability to develop applications using Oracle and open-source databases (e.g. MySql). * Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (e.g. JUnit). * Well-versed in object oriented methodologies and coding practices. * Ability to adapt and learn new technologies and frameworks * Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
