ACCOUNTABILITY: Develop and maintain all Web based Front-end applications, including but not limited to: applications developed using SAP Netweaver WAS (WebApplication Server), SAP Netweaver CE (Composition Environment), Factory Automation Systems, We and Lotus Notes internet, extranet and intranet applications based on user requirements using guidelines set and the standards adopted by the Company. QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree in business; MS in Computer Science or MBA preferred minimum of 5 years programming experience with 3 or more years hands-on experience developing/maintaining Java/J2EE applications * Expert in a variety of programming languages with a primary focus in: Java/J2EE, C#.net, , JavaScript, VBScript, HTML, CSS, XML, XSLT, AJAX * Experience in design, development, and implementation of n-tier applications and solutions using J2EE, JAVA, JavaScript, Sharepoint, Tomcat, HTML, technologies, C# and XML * In-depth knowledge of the fundamentals of object-oriented design an programming; component design and development * Strong knowledge in developing solutions using Java, XML, HTTP, Web Services, SOAP, SOA, and other Web Technologies * Experience with open source technologies and Web 2.0 architecture collaboration tools and practice areas such as RIA, Portal and creating Mashups using public API's * Experience developing RIA's using Adobe Flash and/or Flex technologies * Proficient with navigation design, themes, frames, forms, dynamic elements, and databases on a website. * Familiarity with deploying web applications under SAP NetWeaver application servers * Familiarity with development of Adobe Interactive forms * Thorough understanding of issue relating to web security * Ability to synthesize requirements and design factors from user interviews, management directives. Company business practices, and existing systems in a timely manner, develop design documents and implement these as code for new system for several projects at once. * Ability to create a system from a set of design documents, and to create written technical documentation for the system, and to verbally communicate the features and functions of the system to the end-user. * Outstanding written and communication skills are essential. The end products of design will usually include a formal design document in outline format, various diagrams outlining data structures, process flow, data flow, and process states, and a project schedule. * Enhance existing Web Applications, SAP Netweaver and Web/Lotus Notes applications to accommodate changes in business processes or business needs. * Assist in the requirements analysis for new system development projects. * Work with the user community, other SAP and Notes Developers and the Administrators to successfully implement applications. * Code and unit-test the systems described by the design documents in the programming language and database environment chosen in the design process. * Responsible for meeting all assigned/agreed on target dates for projects as well as individual tasks. * Maintain the design, code, documentation, and testing procedures during the functional lifecycle of the system, after initial implementation, based on input from the user community. * Stays current on the latest trends and methods in application development to adequately support the needs of the company. * Provides training and support to application administrators and/or end users. * Adhere to application development standards set by the Company. * Participate in company-sponsored activities, including suggestion programs, quality training, etc. * Perform other duties and functions as required.
