This position starts immediately as a six months contract position and will lead to a permanent position at the end of the contract. Potential candidates should have a background in design, development, deployment, and support on both J2EE and Windows environments. The successful candidate should have knowledge/experience on J2SE, JSP (Java Server Page), Servlet,JSF (Java Server Page), Java Applet, Windows Common Object Model (COM) in Microsoft Visual C++ (VC++) or Visual Basic (VB). In addition, you should have a good understanding of the web application multi-tier architecture from web server, application server to database server. Experience with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard is a plus.
Responsibilities / Responsabilités . Analyze and design of enhancements to the system based on business requirements . Performs program modifications of moderate complexity and will program complex modifications . Creates test scenarios and perform unit testing of own programming changes . Resolves programming problems of moderate complexity . Completes task estimation for how long it will take to complete a part of work . Participates in technical reviews, providing feedback and input . Trouble shooting and support on UAT and Production environments
Requirements / Exigences . 5 years experience in IT application development environment . 4 years experience in database programming (JDBC/ODBC/stored procedure) . 2 years experience programming using Java Server Faces (JSF) . 3 years experience programming using Java Server Page (JSP) . 3 years experience programming using Servlet . 4 years experience with Object Oriented Analysis and Design . 3 years experience using WebSphere Application Development (WASD)/Visual Age for Java (VAJ) . 2 years experience using IBM WebSphere Application Server . 3 years experience programming using Visual Basic/Visual C++ . 3 years experience with HTML and/or experience with GUI design . 1-2 years experience programming using Java Message Server (JMS) . Ability to work in a team environment
