Join our dedicated and talented team of individuals all focused on creating the best products in the marketplace. We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Senior Manager, Advertising / Brand Contractor in our Glendale offices.
This is a newly created hands-on position with a highly successful, growing interactive local search company. The Advertising /Brand Manager (Contractor), will manage best practices in the development and implementation of creative advertising, media and brand projects for the YP Brand and associated platforms to achieve short and long-term business goals in association with business objectives. This position provides collaborative support to two busy areas – Advertising and Brand.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Hands on coordination of advertising campaigns, brand approvals and associated processes.
Work with creative and media agencies to maintain media / advertising campaign elements, timelines and project lists.
Manage advertising budgets and billing processes and reports. Weekly reporting on budget / billing status, with monthly and quarterly full budget reviews.
Review and distribute regular media reporting
Research new media vendors as needed
Manage internal approval process for media plans and creative projects
Maintain flow charts, creative campaign executions, presentation decks and other elements from advertising campaigns across brand campaign, online, and mobile campaign efforts.
Review advertising, collateral, signage and other materials for brand consistency and correct brand use.
Maintain all brand elements and final creative on wiki, shared drives and other key areas.
Responsible for managing brand projects including submission to brand tool, tracking brand projects and read-out, working closely with key stakeholders, maintaining log of brand activities, developing presentations for brand areas as needed.
Work with legal on trademark, registrations and keep records of activity.
Manage branding approvals with distribution partners.
Liaise with internal stakeholders around the firm's brand communication and visual identity strategies
Ensure that creative / brand messaging is consistently updated and incorporated into proposals, marketing collateral and other internal and external information
REQUIREMENTS
High energy and commitment to creative excellence.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field from an accredited college / university required, MBA is strongly preferred.
Over 5 years of progressive marketing / advertising / branding experience; with a strong track record of introducing successful brands, advertising campaigns and comprehensive knowledge of paid media tactics.
Capable of developing a comprehensive plan and the ability to communicate the plan with key stakeholders.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with exceptional project management skills.
High tech / online / mobile industry experience
Ability to meet extreme deadlines under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Strong project management and presentation skills.
Budget management experience.
Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
