Job Description
Provides network engineering and operational management support for network communications infrastructures. Integrates, maintains, and supports network services. Monitors network services to ensure connectivity. Troubleshoots and resolves or facilitates the resolution of network connectivity and delivery services issues. Architects, designs, and implements enterprise server environments using VMware products for virtualization, server consolidation, development, and enterprise desktop environments using industry proven best practices and solid engineering skills. Leads Desktop Virtualization methodology, development and implementation on an enterprise basis. Knows the features and limitations of the VMware software products to develop an understanding of the operational requirements, and has the ability to deploy a highly optimized virtual computing environment. Troubleshoots application errors, operating system(s), server hardware, network communications and storage allocation issues within the VMware environment.
