Senior Network Support Specialist
Information Systems Technician
ESE, a growing process controls engineering firm, is seeking an experienced IT Professional to join our team in Marshfield. The selected person will work in a team-oriented environment providing technical expertise, assistance and project coordination necessary to install computer software products, modify/repair hardware and resolve technical problems within a complex small business network. This position requires a strong understanding of telecommunications and network technology, hardware, software, and services to ensure proactive monitoring and maintenance of client network environments.
Some of the Duties include:
- Multiple Server Administration – Windows Active Directory Environment
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot a wide range of advanced hardware and software configurations
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills with Exchange, SharePoint, and Terminal Services
- Responds to software and hardware problems for both onsite and remote workers
- Provide technical leadership in all aspects of efficient network design and troubleshooting to maximize network uptime.
- Adept at reading, writing, and interpreting technical documentation and procedure manuals
Programs Used: SQL & SSRS, MS Office 2003/2010, Windows 2008/2003 Server, Crystal Reports, Microsoft Exchange Server, SharePoint, Windows Terminal Services, Microsoft Hyper-V, VmWare ESXi.
Requirements:
Well-qualified candidates have earned their Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related program, A+ certification, at least 5 years of experience in an IT-related field, and/or the combination of education and experience that enables performance of all aspects of the position. MCITP preferred (or must be able to obtain MCITP certification within 6 months of hire.)
