Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
The desired candidate will support the implementation, sustainment, and performance management of an enterprise data warehouse that supports the integration of multiple ERP systems. Candidate must have strong data warehouse analysis and implementation experience. Other responsibilities include:
* Contribute to the analysis, design and implementation of the data warehouse and the data model * Configure the physical implementation of the logical data model to optimize system performance * Establish and oversee a reasonable and reliable backup strategy * Support the day-to-day operations of the solution databases (including production and pre-production instances) * Work with development staff and technical documentation staff to ensure completion of all required documentation * Mentor and train junior staff by sharing best practices and lessons learned from past implementation efforts * Candidate might identify process improvement opportunities
Required Qualifications:
* 10+ years of experience with software development, including a strong knowledge of Oracle, SQL * 3+ years of applicable experience in implementing enterprise data warehousing solutions * 3+ years of experience in data warehouse star schema design * Demonstrable experience with a high volume data warehouse solution integrating multiple complex sources of data is essential * Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment * Candidate should exhibit a superior degree of discretion and autonomy * Typically requires a bachelor's degree (in Computer Science or related field) or equivalent, and ten to twelve years of related experience.
Desired Qualifications:
* Experience in implementing Oracle Business Analytics solutions is strongly desired * Experience integrating multiple large scale systems into a single warehouse is strongly desired * Experience with Oracle Financial Analytics package is desired * Demonstrated experience with Informatica PowerCenter is desired * Experience implementing a data warehousing solution for a Financial Management/Acquisitions focused ERP environment is desired * 3+ years of Federal consulting experience will be a plus * Experience with Oracle EBS, Compusearch PRISM and/or Sunflower Assets will be a plus * Strong domain knowledge of at least one of these functional domains - Financial Management, Acquisitions, Asset Management - will be a plus
