Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Prioritizes tasks, resolves complex problems, and participates in strategy discussions
· Maintain multiple Oracle database environments for all production and non-production systems
· Create and maintain appropriate documentation for databases, production support and end-users.
· Monitor database performance and tune database parameters as appropriate
· Evaluate database storage requirements for current systems and future growth
· Designs, administers, installs, builds, tests, and maintains middleware solutions

Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree or combination of work experience and technical certifications
· 8+ years of information systems experience in a large enterprise systems environment supporting mission-critical systems and applications.
· A high degree of demonstrated technical excellence in his/her technical specialty. Excellent problem solving skills across multiple disciplines.

Technical Qualifications:
· Demonstrated expertise in Oracle RDBMS 10g and 11g
· Strong Oracle RAC database skills
· Strong Oracle Performance Tuning skills
· Advanced experience using RMAN and Data Guard
· Experience with Oracle Golden Gate
· Experience with Oracle Application Server 10g
· Solid experience with system monitoring and system management tools
· Solid experience with complex system integration projects
· Solid experience with system monitoring and management software
· Experience with Red Hat Linux and Sun Solaris
· Experience with disaster recovery and recovering complex environments
· Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
