Senior Principal Consultant (Mobility)

Chase Winters Worldwide (a leading retained executive search firm) is currently conducting a highly visible search engagement for Senior Principal Consultant (Mobility Practice).

The Candidate will be a leading member of the team responsible for addressing strategic, operational and organizational challenges - including:

• Analyze the problem faced by the customer, participates in customer discussions, gets further data from customer if required, assist team members, reviews their work and provides solutions to articulate problem statement.
• Work with senior consultants to create proposals, business case/ROI, suggests alternatives and lead such engagements whenever necessary. Reviewing the proposal prepared by consultants for their completeness in terms of solution fitment, scope, risks and estimate.
• Propose solution alternatives and takes the recommended solution alternatives to the customer, reviews solution options suggested by team and suggest improvements.
• Identifies the change management requirements and propose a structured approach to client for managing the change using multiple communication mechanisms
• Perform portfolio analysis, analyze transition needs, and analyze transition timelines. Maintain knowledge repository. Create capabilities in core domain areas to develop transition plan.
• Work with customer to build knowledge repository, resolve escalated issues, perform project management activities
• Develop & publish leading view points, thought leadership. Perform research on market movement, competitive analysis of product/technologies. Participate in relevant external marketing events, to build brand, new client pipeline through marketing initiatives. 

The Candidate will posess:

a)     Proficiency in multi-platform mobile OS, such as: iOS, Android, RIM, Windows Mobile, Symbian

• b)     Exposure to mobile application development methodologies such as development and validation and testing.
• c)      Good understanding of Mobile Middleware packages.
• d)     Deep industry knowledge in one of the verticals such as Retail, Banking, Financial services, Healthcare, Energy and Utilities, Hi-Tech, Services, Telecom.
• e)     Excellent communication and client interfacing skills
• f)      Ability to develop frameworks/tools/assessment methodologies to recommend solutions to client problems
• g)     Ability to create clear recommendations and strategies out of vague and unclear requirements.
• h)     Passionate about mobility and technology.

Desired Skills/Certifications

• a)     Exposure to SDLC methodology.
• b)     Experience in Enterprise Mobile enablement, mobile advertising, mobile search, mobile commerce, mobile banking/payments, social networking, location based services
• c)      Experience in Enterprise Architecture with Oracle, SAP and Microsoft.
• d)     Knowledge of Mobile Device Management, Mobile Security and wireless policies a plus.
• e)     Knowledge of Mobile Enterprise Application Provider platforms such as Antenna, Sybase Unwired Platform, Kony. Mobile Iron a plus.
• f)      Hi-Tech product management, product marketing, software engineering or consulting experience with a leading firm.
