AREVA Resources Canada has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Process Engineer to join the Engineering and Projects team in the Saskatoon corporate office!
Reporting to the Chief Metallurgist, this position is responsible for uranium processes selection, process flow sheet development and mass balance for new milling projects, starting from the pre-feasibility study to the basic and detailed engineering phases. You will also have the opportunity to:
· Be involved in the process optimization of the McClean Lake uranium mill and water treatment facilities · Liaise with external engineering consultants and vendor son the process design of new projects · Assist in the planning and co-coordinating of metallurgical test work in support of process improvements and optimization · Provide project management for small scale modification or optimization projects for the McClean Lake uranium mill · Take part in engineering bid evaluations, risk assessment and HAZOP studies · Provide technical supports to the site metallurgists · Compile reports on engineering studies and test work · Work as a team with other Engineering and Projects to complete priority projects
