AutoReqId 5920BR Job Title Senior Programmer/Analyst SanDisk Job Description In this position, the individual will be responsible for handling day-to-day aspects of Gentran Integration Suite including troubleshooting, monitoring and taking action as the system requires attention and for designing, developing, modifying, debugging and evaluating programs for functional areas, including but not limited to finance, human resources, manufacturing, and marketing. The individual will analyze existing programs or formulate logic for new systems, devise logic procedures, prepare flowcharting, perform coding, and will test/debug programs. Lastly, the individual will develop conversion and system implementation plans, prepare and obtain approval of system and programming documentation, recommend changes in development, maintenance, and system standards, and train users in conversion and implementation of systems.
This position requires a BS/BA degree or equivalent with 5 or more years of related experience and 1 year of experience with various data communications protocols such as FTP, SFTP and AS2, while some experience with PGP encryption and GIS mapping tool would be a plus. The ideal individual must have excellent knowledge of Unix, Shell Scripting, Java, XML, XML schemas, and XSLT, proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment, and strong understanding of Gentran Integration Suite Business Processes (with hands on Business Process development experience), performance tuning of GIS, and GIS services and adapters. The individual must be self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have also demonstrated ability to work well with people and have a proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team. In addition, the individual must have the abilities to work effectively cross-functionally, coordinate priorities and initiatives, troubleshoot and analyze complex problems, and to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
