Requisition # G1881689 Job Title Senior Programmer Analyst(Java/Spring/Adobe Flex) Post Date 8/31/2010 Division Information Technology Job Area Information Technology Location India - Hyderabad Job Function Work with Program Management and Development team to design and develop innovative technical solutions, provide input to project roadmaps, provide estimates for technical components and technical consulting as required.
Provide technical leadership and strategic direction to team for technical strategies/approaches.
Collaborate with users, QA and Management to ensure that enhancements and application defects are managed effectively.
Communicate status of development activities as required. Demonstrate strong initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision or direction.
Work with other individuals within the IT community to identify best practices and standards and work with technical leadership and management to promote them to the internal development team.
Skills/Experience .Five plus years experience with software development with latest Java technologies as well as HTML, SQL, PL/SQL, Unix, Oracle and relational databases. Experience with Adobe Flex (3 or up) a must Experience with SQL , DB tuning
Experience with software development, including J2EE design patterns and frameworks, Java, AJAX, JSF, Spring, Facelets, XML/XSLT, web services (AXIS2 or CXF), MyFaces, SOAP and JMS.
Ability to collaborate with staff to build proof-of-concepts and/or working UI mock-ups to facilitate requirements gathering and to demonstrate a product vision to the client.
Must be able to multi-task and work on a large number of complex designs at one time to support all of the on-going initiatives.
Must have demonstrated success in managing technical requirements for multiple large scale projects.
Responsibilities Strong technical, leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills a must.
Demonstrated success in developing software for larger multi-disciplined groups required.
Demonstrated communication/collaboration skills required. Solid problem solving capability a must.
Must be able to evaluate and speak to strengths and weaknesses of various technology solutions.
Solid understanding of software development methodologies and best practices required including experience with several SCM tools (Subversion, CVS, Perforce) and build tools such as ANT or Maven and continuous integration tools.
Knowledge of and/or experience with web services Standards (SOAP, XML, WSDL, UDDI) desirable.
Education Requirements Four year degree in Computer Science, IT or related area.
