The MS Implementations practice is a professional services team on boarding new clients to our hosted Marketing offerings, as well as delivering large-scale enhancements to existing clients. Core capabilities consist of program / project management, development, reporting, and analysis skills to craft creative Decision-based solutions for real-time and batch marketing efforts. What will you do? Senior Program / Project Manager are responsible to own all phases of a program or project, including estimating, structuring, manage/control, and transitioning to operations. Role also to assist the advancement of practice objectives to introduce continual improvement of development methods, collateral, skills, and tools . Opportunities for this role to also assist with sales support, relationship management, and influence direction of marketing products. Flexible. Preferred locations Minneapolis, Chicago or NY/NJ vicinity, but not required. 10-20% travel. Flexible with work location. Capable of managing others with flexible work locations / telecommuting environment. Experience/Qualifications : For consideration, candidate will have: Required BA / BS. PMP, IIBA certifications preferred. Senior Program / Project Manager with 10-15 years experience leading technical projects in a consultative environment as well as a hosted environment. Experience with working remotely and leading remote teams. Manage one or more of the following types of projects: Marketing applications, real time and batch transactional systems, hosted solution of blended product and custom development, roadmap definition, Unica / campaign management installation, quality assurance/ testing programs. Strong alignment to adopt / improve methodologies (RUP, Agile, Test Driven Development). Industry marketing experiences, understanding strategies, delivery mechanisms, industry trends. Knowledge of Analytics / Decision Management solutions for real time and batch applications. Strong project management / program management experiences. Primary background implementing data warehousing / business intelligence solutions. Tools: MS Project, standard office. Experiences leading projects and/or hands on experiences with databases Oracle, DB2, Netezza (optional). Application servers Websphere, JBoss. ETL Ab Initio, DataStage/QualityStage, Informatica. Languages Java, ShellScript, Perl, XML, .Net. Reporting-Business objects, MicroStrategy. Web services / SOA architectures. Very collaborative, effective with managing remote teams a must. Disciplined, capable of working from home, at client site, and / or corporate locations. Clear, concise communications to executive and client audiences.
