Job Summary: The Sr. Software Analyst I supports the operations of Bell Helicopter's Industrial Engineering department at the company's Amarillo, TX facility. Responsibilities: * Provide application development support for new and existing systems. * Provide development for new and existing reporting requirements. * Write and maintain documentation of changes to programs and specifications. * Create test transactions and perform tests to find errors and confirm program meets specifications. * Analyze code to find causes of errors and revises programs. * Adhere to the change control process for software changes. * Provide on-call support for systems as required by the business. * Provide estimates for break-fix requests. * Understand and documents system interface requirements. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Industrial Engineering or equivalent degree plan - or equivalent work experience - is required. Position Requirements: * 5+ years total related IT or IE experience is required. * 2+ years Information Technology experience in a manufacturing environment is required. * Understanding of IT systems integration including client/server applications deployment and their associated interfaces is required. * Experience in a shop floor manufacturing environment and use of reporting tools such as Business Objects/Crystal is preferred.
