Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
Client/Software Development Lead role with management and client interfacing responsibilities. Will work closely with clients to gather system requirements, manage developers and business analysts, and provide direct client support. Responsibilities will include:
* Manage a team of software developers and business system analysts from business process analysis to product delivery. * Determine solutions to address business process challenges of clients and overall improvements to the system. * Provide technical and functional support and training at the client site. This includes working closely with customers to gather requirements and troubleshooting technical (server/database/application) and functional issues. * May complete software development tasks on a .NET 2.0/3.5 and SQL Server 2000/2005 platform. Development includes resolving system defects and implementing system improvements/enhancements. * Follow the software development life cycle for each development task by producing detailed technical design documents, developing, and unit testing based on detailed project schedule. * Provide technical support/mentoring and oversight to developers and business systems analysts.
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree (in Computer Science or related field), or equivalent, and a minimum of 7 to 9 years experience. * Experience working in a client environment and gathering requirements. * Medium to advanced knowledge of T-SQL and SQL Server 2000/2005. * Development experience with web-based applications.
Desired Qualifications:
* Experience with Windows 2003 Server, IIS 6.0, .NET 1.1/2.0. * Experience with SQL Server administration.
