Description
Sharepoint / Web Application Developer
Innovative Technology Systems (ITS) is seeking a Software Developer (JAVA/J2EE & SharePoint) to support an IC client in McLean Virginia. The selected candidate will provide guidance to the CapNet team and Office of Legislative Affairs staff on development tasks and architecture questions relevant to the program infrastructure. The successful candidate will work as part of the existing SharePoint team supporting customer operations. Responsibilities include operations and maintenance of virtual and physical servers for MOSS 2007 and WSS 3.0, site provisioning, data restores, migration of sites across farms, upgrading sites from WSS 2.0 to WSS 3.0. Deploy solutions while adhering to standard processes and complying with corporate procedures. Tier 2 technical support is required utilizing Maximo to process requests meeting established SLAs for incidents and service requests. * Must possess a TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph * Must have strong skills Microsoft Server skills, good troubleshooting methodology * Must have basic networking skills and understanding of domains, load balancing, and IP addressing * Must be willing to work within strict change control guidelines and release management procedures * Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team * Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
