The BizTalk team is looking for a senior Software Design Engineer in Test. BizTalk Server is Microsoft's platform solution for supporting mission-critical enterprise application integration and B2B processes. Including over 25 multi-platform adapters and a robust messaging infrastructure, BizTalk Server provides connectivity between core systems both within and outside an organization. In addition to integration functionality, BizTalk also provides strong durable messaging, a rules engine, EDI connectivity, Business Activity Monitoring (BAM), RFID capabilities and IBM Host/Mainframe connectivity.

As an Senior SDET you will get an opportunity to drive the test strategy for your area of ownership, provide feedback on testability during design reviews, create or propose solutions which address complex systems design or process issues. You will also be expected to influence test strategy for related areas in your peer teams which directly or indirectly relate to your areas. You will also get an opportunity to review, recommend and improve processes and solutions that improve teams overall efficiency.
Our ideal candidate is one with proven technical skills. He or she should have a passion for technology and for building great products. The candidate should have a minimum experience of 5 years or more . The candidate is expected to have experience in building test strategies that ensure comprehensive test coverage with demonstrated problem solving, programming and debugging skills. Experience in server platforms and/or business applications, a knowledge of Microsoft's .NET platform and services is preferred. Ability to ramp up on new products/technologies quickly and strong customer empathy is preferred.
